Neeta F. Bhushan, DDS  - Board-Certified General Dentist 

 

Dr. Bhushan has worked in the dental profession for more than 10 years beginning her career as a dental assistant.  Dr. Neeta Bhushan obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, Cum Laude, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Chemistry. She realized early on that she had an intense passion for serving others and decided Dentistry was the perfect path for her.

Dr. Bhushan obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While in Dental school she enjoyed serving on a variety of organizations while demonstrating an excellence in leadership in organized dentistry. She founded the South Asian Student Dental Organization, was President of the American Association of Women Dentists, Chicago Dental Society Student Chapter Secretary, and the student liaison to the Indian Dental Association.

Dr. Bhushan’s achievements were recognized as she was the recipient of several awards honoring her academic and clinical excellence as well as her outstanding commitment to service including, Elnore Bushee Scholarship,the Ann Tschirley Gunatillake Scholarship,and the Chancellor’s Student Service Award.

 

Dr. Bhushan is a published author and has conducted research fostering her interests in both cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.  Entitled, “Long-term effects of orthodontic therapy on the

maxillary dental arch and nasal cavity” was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and highlighted the importance of orthodontics in young adolescents. Dr. Bhushan has presented her research at several symposiums including the Nobel Biocare World Conference.  As you may have guessed, Dr. Bhushan is a firm believer in continuing education, always striving to be at the cutting edge of dental technology and is constantly attending seminars and courses to expand her knowledge base. 

 

Patient comfort is the first priority for Dr. Bhushan. She is an advocate of healthy beautiful smiles, which begins with being in a comfortable, soothing environment. She is open to discuss any past, present fears, while making sure patients are fully knowledgeable about their complete oral health.  She believes in the highest standard of care and will definitely go above and beyond to achieve those goals for her patients.

 

Currently, Dr. Bhushan maintains memberships with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD), American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the Chicago Dental Society (CDS).

 

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Bhushan has completed the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Triathlon, and enjoys cooking, traveling, swimming, dancing, tennis, and Chicago sports.

 

Bahareh Sabzehei, DDS MS - Board-Certified Periodontist

 

Hi, I'm Bahareh, the periodontist at Lisle Dental Center. I received my periodontal training at the  University of Illinois at Chicago after completing my dental training at UIC. I am proficient in treating all aspects of  periodontal disease, periodontal plastic surgery, hard and soft tissue regeneration and implant dentistry.  I am also a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) as well.

 I am also a part-time clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sabzehei is committed to providing excellent patient care and life-long learning.

Dr. Sabzehei lives in Chicago area and enjoys exploring shows and concerts in the Windy city. I also enjoys running, biking and playing tennis. I recently completed the 2009 Chicago Marathon, which was a great accomplishment.  I look forward to a long-lasting relationship with you and your family.
